FAMOUS MONTENEGRIN FOOTBALLER WEARS DRLUIGI

Marko Vešović is a Montenegrin professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Qarabağ FK and the Montenegrin national team.

He started his career in the youth team of local club Mladost Lučani. He made his debut in the senior national team in the 2008-09 season with Budućnost. He was also loaned to Mladost Podgorica for half a season. In January 2014, he moved on a free transfer to Italian first division club Torino, for whom he made four appearances until the end of the 2013/14 season.

In the summer of 2014, he moved to Rijeka on a one-year loan. On September 18, 2016, he scored a brace in Rijeka’s 5-2 win over Dinamo Zagreb. Rijeka became champions of the first Croatian Football League in 2017; it was the first season since 2005 that Dinamo Zagreb did not finish first. Vešović was coached by Matjaž Kek during his three years at Rijeka.

Vešović enjoyed his time in Rijeka and Croatia in general, where he also discovered DrLuigi medical footwear and became a member of our family. This talented player knows that our footwear has everything his feet need – they are comfortable, lightweight and flexible, providing the comfort his legs need after all the training sessions and football games.

As for his international career, Vešović was a regular for the Montenegrin U21 team between 2009 and 2013 after his time with the Montenegrin U-19 team. On May 20, 2013, he was called up to the Montenegrin national football team for the first time. After missing out on several matches, he finally made his debut for Montenegro on 15 October 2013 as a substitute in the final match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Moldova. On 1 September 2017, Vešović scored his first goal for Montenegro in a 3-0 win over Kazakhstan in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying, and as of 16 October 2020, he has made a total of 30 caps, scoring 2 goals.

Vešović is currently in Azerbaijan. He signed with Qarabağ on July 16, 2021 and is currently playing in the UEFA Europa League. We wish him all the best in the future.
