Famous Slovenian football manager always wears DrLuigi

Boštjan Cesar is a former Slovenian professional football player, and the assistant coach of the Slovenia national team. He played as a center-back in Slovenia, France, England, Italy and Croatia, where he spent part of his playing career in Dinamo Zagreb.

Cesar started his career with a three-year deal in Olympique de Marseille in 2005. After that, he joined West Bromwich Albion in August 2007, but he made only 24 appearances for that club in all competitions. He later joined the Marseille football club.

He signed a two-year deal with Grenoble Foot 38 in January 2009 and scored his first goal for the club in his second appearance. In May 2011, he joined Chievo, on a two-year contract.

This famous football player and manager also had a successful international career. He made his international debut on February 12, 2003, playing against Switzerland. On October 9, 2004, he scored his first international goal to defeat Italy in a World Cup qualifier. Interestingly, it was Italy's only defeat, as they went on to win the World Cup. On October 8, 2017, Cesar became the first Slovenian player to have 100 national team appearances. He retired from the national team on March 27, 2018, in a home match against Belarus.

Boštjan was obviously a talented football player, as well as he is now a successful football manager, but he is also a star of our DrLuigi family. Boštjan discovered all the advantages of our medical footwear and enjoys wearing it when he is not on the football field. We wish him all the best in the World Cup, which is currently taking place in Qatar.
