Talented football player Sammir – a loyal DrLuigi fan

Sammir is a famous Brazilian-born Croatian former professional football player who played as an attacking midfielder. Born in Brazil, Sammir became a Croatian citizen and has been capped seven times for the Croatia national football team. He was selected for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

This talented athlete has chosen DrLuigi when it comes to medical shoes! Sammir is not only a proud member of the DrLuigi family, but also a football player who has made a huge and significant impact on both the Croatian and the world football field.

In addition, Sammir is the player with the most appearances in European Cups in Dinamo’s club history. In March 2012, he played for Dinamo in the 300th anniversary match with the captain’s armband around his arm, becoming one of the twenty players with the most appearances for Dinamo in the club’s hundred-year history. After seven years in the blue jersey, Sammir left Dinamo for Spain at the end of 2013 as the player with the most trophies in the club’s history (15 trophies won). After a three-year absence, Sammir returned to Dinamo as a free player. He spent six months in his second visit to Maksimir, playing 12 league games, scoring one goal and appearing twice in the cup. In July 2017, Sammir signed with Wuhan Zall in China, and in early February 2019, he moved to the eighth club of his career – Sport Recife in his native Brazil. In September 2019, Sammir returned to Croatia to play for Lokomotiva Football Club, where he stayed until March 2021.

He then returned to Brazil, where he is currently taking the time off and enjoying the beaches, but he also says that he “follows Dinamo, who can achieve anything”! And besides his love for the Croatian football club, Sammir also loves the Croatian medical footwear brand DrLuigi, which takes care of the comfort and health of his feet during his successful football career. Ergonomic features and the soft shock absorbing soles design of our medical footwear enables the amortization of bodyweight, making the shoes adaptable to the individual anatomic characteristics of every single foot.
